Air Asia, in its continued effort to provide passengers with convenience and luxury, has recently announced its lounge facilities to guests across airports. Passengers can now pre-book lounge services through the Air Asia website and mobile app for nominal fee starting around Rs. 800.
These lounge services could be purchased at the time we book a flight or even post-booking by logging in to the ‘Manage’ section on the airline’s website airasia.co.in, or during check-in.
The lounge facility delivers guests, services like high-speed Wi-Fi hot food and beverages, snacks, newspapers & magazines, charging stations for laptops and mobiles, wash and change facilities, business centre facilities and lounge bars.
The Airline has announced that these services are offered in 13 airports including at its all four hubs. In India, these services are available at Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Goa, Delhi, Jaipur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Ranchi, Kolkata.
Speaking about the service, Siddhartha Butalia, Chief Marketing Officer, AirAsia India said, “Extending easy access to airport lounges and offering these facilities to our guests enhances and ensures a more holistic and pleasurable travel experience.
As an innovative, digital-first brand, we have taken every opportunity to differentiate our service experience with distinctive offerings. We recently launched our new dining brand ‘Gourmair’ with a diverse offering of fresh, hot and healthy meals, served 36,000 feet in the sky.
In addition to in-flight services and airport lounges, we also introduced many innovative services like FlyPorter home to airport baggage delivery services, and self-drive and chauffeured car rental services in partnership with Avis”.
AirAsia India Limited is a joint venture between Tata Sons Private Limited and AirAsia Investment Limited, headquartered in Bengaluru. The Airline commenced its operations on 12th June 2014 and now it flies over 50 direct and 100 connecting routes across India. The airline offers plush leather seats, hot Gourmair meals, and Red-Carpet priority services.
