Goa, 12th March 2024 – The Goa Tourism Pavilion stole the spotlight at ITB Berlin 2024, captivating visitors with its engaging exhibits and showcasing the state’s rich cultural tapestry. From immersive displays highlighting regenerative tourism to fascinating presentations on Ekadasha Teertha, a once-in-a-decade exposition featuring St. Francis Xavier, the pavilion offered a captivating glimpse into the diverse tourism offerings of Goa.
Amidst the bustling atmosphere, the pavilion served as a hub for renowned hoteliers, tour operators, and aviation industry leaders. Visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with Goa tourism officials and stakeholders, exploring partnership prospects aimed at promoting responsible tourism and fostering global connections. Among the official delegates present were Mr. Sanjeev Ahuja, IAS, Secretary of Tourism and Information & Technology, Government of Goa; Mr. Jayesh Kankonkar, Assistant Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Goa; and Mr. Prasad Kavlekar, Marketing Manager, Goa Tourism Development Corporation.

Additionally, the Tourism Minister was honored with the “Tourism Minister of the Year” award, acknowledging exemplary leadership in positioning Goa as a premier tourist destination.
