From an early age, Bani nurtured a passion for motorsports, dedicating herself to the sport with relentless determination, ultimately reaching the pinnacle of her ambitions. Reflecting on her upbringing and passion for racing, Bani explains that her fascination with speed and competition has been a lifelong affair. “Growing up in Chapora, I was always captivated by the excitement of racing,” she reveals. Her early exposure to professional racing events in her village only intensified her ambition. After completing her primary education, Bani pursued higher studies in Mass Communication at St. Xavier’s College in Mapusa, all while remaining steadfast in her pursuit of a career in motorsports.

Bani’s childhood memories are laced with moments of play and inspiration. “I spent countless hours playing with toy cars and absorbing racing videos,” she recalls. Encouraged by friends who recognized her passion, she began racing at a local track, marking the start of her thrilling adventure in the sport. “That’s where my journey took off,” she says with a smile.

At the age of 18, Bani entered the competitive world of local racing events and quickly became enamored with the adrenaline-fueled thrill of the sport. “I have been fortunate to have a solid support system of family, friends, and mentors who have guided me along the way,” she notes, acknowledging the importance of their encouragement.

Yet, the path to success is rarely without obstacles. Bani candidly shares her experiences, including a significant challenge during a recent race. “I encountered difficulties, particularly after a fall in the last lap. Regaining my momentum was tough, but I didn’t let it deter me. I remained focused, got back on my bike, and finished the race in 4th place,” she recounts, emphasizing her resilience.

Throughout her journey, Bani has participated in several noteworthy events. She proudly lists her achievements: “I took part in the MRF National Dirt Championships in Kolhapur, finishing 5th, and the MRF National Rally in Nashik, where I secured 4th place. I also came in 3rd at the MRF National Rally in Chikmagalur.” Each race, she admits, offers a unique thrill. “Racing gives me an adrenaline rush like nothing else. I’ve been passionate about it since childhood, and the allure of being on the track is unparalleled.”

Bani’s relentless drive for racing excellence is fueled by her need for speed. “It’s been ingrained in me since I was a kid,” she says. Her father, Bramanand Dabholkar, has played a pivotal role in shaping her passion. “Having a supportive and passionate parent is invaluable. His guidance has been a cornerstone of my journey.” Moreover, she draws inspiration from fellow riders like Yoshva Lobo, Swapnil Korgaonkar, Mario Fernandes, and Shabuddin Sayed. “Their remarkable skills and dedication motivate me to push my boundaries and strive for greatness,” she adds.

As she looks toward the future, Bani is eager to expand her horizons within the sport. “My aspirations are to continue honing my skills and compete in more championships,” she shares. “I aim to leave my mark in the racing world and inspire others through my journey.”
